Možno áno, no jedlo je tou najpriamejšou cestou do duše domácich. Do Thajska.

Bohužiaľ sa však nemala komu so zážitkami pochváliť.

I’m going to Jordan 🇯🇴 with @visitjordan in two days! Here is a #GirlEatWorld by @sceatheworld at the desert of Wadi Rum when she went a few months ago. This is Ma’amoul, aka Dates cookies that are very popular in Levantine countries such as Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria. The thousands of palm trees around the desert of Jordan results in great varieties of dates, from blonde to dark to the almighty Majdool date, the king of all dates. I can’t wait to explore Amman, Jerash, the Dead Sea, Dana, and of course, the majestic Petra!! I have also been dilligently watching @migrationology’s Jordan foodlogs on youtube too to prepare myself for all the delicious Jordanian cuisine ☺️

🇯🇵🐱🍩 The cuuuutest handmade cat donut from Floresta Nature Donuts @floresta_nature_doughnuts at Shin Kyogoku 新京極 Market in Kyoto. These are called Doubutsu Donut どうぶつドーナツ or “Animal Donut”. I have wanted one since I saw them on instagram awhile back! These animal donuts became a sensation about 4 years ago, created by Floresta in Nara. Due to the massive success of the animal donuts, they now have branches all over Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, etc)! There are many different animal designs, but this cat donut is one of their original designs. The donuts are all cake-based and the ears are made of almonds. So adorable! Special thanks to my friend @soulstruck for the tips ❤️! @op.118 and I practically ran to find these donuts when you told us there is one near Nishiki Market!

⛩🇯🇵🍦 A modern take of the well-loved, fish-shaped Taiyaki from a food market at Fushimi Inari in Kyoto by @op.118. Taiyaki normally contains red bean paste or custard cream, but this parfait one has whipped cream, chocolate pocky stick, green tea paste and red bean paste as well as crunchy cereal inside! Follow @op.118 who is currently touring through Japan. — On a separate note, I have been refreshing my Japanese knowledge using @iknowjp app which teaches you daily japanese vocabularies on-the-go through fun quizzes and games. Knowing these vocabularies has been extremely helpful for me on this trip! Since I have been having such a great experience with iknow.jp, I’m happy to share a free trial using the code ➡️🔹girleatworld16🔹⬅️. A little clementine 🍊 at Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon 🇲🇲 I know it’s crazy, but it is now the last five days of 2015 (!!) I will be posting once a day until December 31st, five of my favorite #GirlEatWorld stories from 2015… Starting with this one from the Myanmar trip I took in January with @sceetheworld. Why clementine? 🍊 I was pretty much obsessed with this fruit throughout the trip. They are easy to peel, so sweet and seedless, goes for $1 for half a dozen and there seem to be no shortage of them in each burmese city we visited. It became my go-to snack! Shwedagon Pagoda is believed to be constructed 2,600 years ago and contains relics of four Buddhas. In the modern day, it has become an important political arena for the burmese people. In 1946, it is where General Aung San demanded independence from the British before he was assasinated a year later. In the same place 42 years later, his daughter Aung San Suu Kyi would address half a million crowd to demand democracy from the military regime. The most important thing to remember when visiting this place? Take your shoes AND socks off. You have to go barefoot! 😉 👣

#girleatworld (or#boyeatworld) by @utosh – one of my favorite instagrammers! This is taken at Stonehenge, a prehistoric rock formation located just a few hours outside London, UK 🇬🇧. Not sure why I didn’t take any pics when I visited last year! Anyways, it is believed this stone circle dated back to 2000-3000 BC. While the history of Stonehenge is still a mystery, the ruins align with the sunrise / sunset during solstices. It’s also not known how exactly people built this monument 5,000 years ago, demonstrating an impressive feat of engineering for its time. Stonehenge remains one of the most studied archaelogical feature in the world, and archeologists are still uncovering its secrets even today!

Rád objavujem nové miesta, krajiny. Život je najkrajší, keď odchádzam. Keď som na ceste späť? Radšej premýšľam na ďalším odchodom.
